Payment Options and Legal Fee Financing
Hiring a criminal defense lawyer is often an expense people were not expecting. Henson Law Firm accepts major credit cards and offers legal fee financing options that may allow qualified clients to pay legal fees over time instead of paying the entire amount at once.
The fee required to retain Henson Law Firm depends on the charge, the court, the work the case is expected to require, and the circumstances of the representation. Specific legal fees are discussed during the consultation rather than published on the website.
For clients interested in financing, Henson Law Firm currently offers access to CaseFunders and LawPay Pay Later, powered by Affirm. Financing is provided by third parties and is subject to their approval and terms.

Make a Payment Through LawPayCaseFunders Legal Fee Financing
CaseFunders is the primary legal fee financing option offered through Henson Law Firm. It allows you to check available financing offers and compare payment options from participating providers before deciding whether a particular plan works for you.
Checking available offers through CaseFunders does not affect your credit score. If you choose an offer and continue with the financing provider, that provider may perform a hard credit inquiry as part of completing the financing process.
The CaseFunders process allows you to review available payment amounts and terms before accepting an offer. You are not required to accept financing simply because you check your options.
CaseFunders is not a lender and Henson Law Firm does not make lending decisions. Approval, available financing amounts, interest rates, payment terms, and other conditions are determined by the financing provider.
How CaseFunders Works
You can begin through Henson Law Firm's CaseFunders application link and provide the information needed to check available financing options. CaseFunders then allows you to review offers that may be available through participating providers.
If you find an option that works for you, you can select it and complete the provider's requirements. Once the financing arrangement and the firm's representation agreement are completed, the financing can be used toward the legal fees covered by the arrangement.
Checking your available options does not obligate you to hire Henson Law Firm, and checking financing does not create an attorney-client relationship. The firm must separately agree to accept your case.
LawPay Pay Later Through Affirm
Henson Law Firm also offers LawPay Pay Later, which is powered by Affirm. This gives qualified clients another way to finance legal fees and repay Affirm over time.
You can review the financing options offered to you before deciding whether to proceed. Checking available options uses a soft credit inquiry that does not affect your credit score.
If you use LawPay Pay Later, the financing agreement is between you and Affirm or the applicable financing provider. Henson Law Firm does not determine whether you are approved and does not set your interest rate, payment amount, repayment period, or other financing terms.
Which Financing Option Should I Use?
You are not required to use a particular financing provider. CaseFunders and LawPay Pay Later are separate options, and eligibility or terms offered through one may be different from those available through the other.
CaseFunders is presented first because it allows clients to check and compare available financing options from participating providers. LawPay Pay Later remains available as an additional financing choice through Affirm.
Review the actual terms offered to you before accepting any financing arrangement. Henson Law Firm cannot advise you which credit product is financially best for your personal circumstances.
Major Credit Cards
Henson Law Firm accepts major credit cards for legal fees and client payments.
If you are considering hiring the firm, the available payment method and the amount required to begin representation can be discussed during your consultation.
Current Clients: Make a Payment Online
Existing Henson Law Firm clients can make credit or debit card payments securely through the firm's LawPay payment portal.
Use this payment link only when you already know the amount you intend to pay or have discussed the payment with the firm.
If you have a question about the amount due or how a payment should be applied, contact Henson Law Firm before submitting the payment.
Frequently Asked Questions About Legal Fee Financing
Can I finance criminal defense attorney fees?
Financing may be available for legal fees when Henson Law Firm accepts the representation and the client qualifies through the financing provider. Approval and the amount available depend on the provider's requirements and the terms offered to the applicant.
Does checking CaseFunders financing affect my credit score?
Checking available offers through CaseFunders does not affect your credit score. A financing provider may perform a hard inquiry after you select an offer and proceed with that provider.
Can I compare more than one financing option through CaseFunders?
CaseFunders is designed to allow applicants to review available payment options from participating financing providers in one place. The number and terms of any offers depend on the applicant and the providers participating in the process.
Is LawPay Pay Later still available?
Yes. Henson Law Firm continues to offer LawPay Pay Later, powered by Affirm, as an additional legal fee financing option for qualified clients.
Does Henson Law Firm decide whether I qualify?
No. Henson Law Firm does not make credit decisions for CaseFunders, Affirm, or another financing provider. The financing companies determine eligibility, approval, rates, payment terms, and the amount available.
Do I have to be approved for financing before contacting the firm?
No. Financing and hiring a lawyer are separate issues. Contact Henson Law Firm first if you need to discuss the criminal case, whether Rob Henson is available to represent you, and the fee required for the representation.
Can a family member apply for financing to hire a lawyer for someone else?
A parent, spouse, or other family member can contact Henson Law Firm about retaining Rob Henson for a loved one. Whether a particular person can obtain financing for the legal fees depends on the requirements of the financing provider.
Does using financing affect how my criminal case is handled?
No. The method used to pay legal fees does not determine the legal strategy or the outcome of a criminal case. Rob Henson's representation is based on the facts, evidence, law, and circumstances of the case.
